I normally stay at the Courtyard in Shelton but it wasn't available. I honestly was very disappointed in this hotel. The bathroom was not Hilton quality. Tub had missing paint. The bed was comfortable but that was the only positive. No Netflix. When I wanted to check out, there was no one at the front desk. Several minutes later Sue arrived and started waiting on someone else even though I had been there first. Never said who was here first. Thankfully, the lady told her I was there first. I was in a hurry and already running a bit late from having to wait on Front desk staff.
Convenient location. Ample self parking in safe area. Good value for the money. Hotel lobby is nice. Breakfast is decent. Coffee station 24/7. Complementary shuttle. Breakfast and dinner available in the Grille and Bar. Full service bar daily from 5:00pm - 11:00pm.The 24 Hour Pavilion Pantry offers beverages and a selection of frozen meals you can cook in your room.
I had a great stay at the Hilton garden inn Shelton! The staff was very professional and courteous. I especially liked the text message correspondence with the front desk to check up on my stay. They even responded quickly to a matter with my room via text that I needed assistance with while I was at an event. The rooms were very clean! I would go back there again, just ask for the rooms that the black out curtains close all the way! Lots of morning sunlight:-)
Clean rooms, plenty of amenities. Couldn't ask for a more affordable and comfortable stay.
Staff was great and the breakfast crew were really great people! Clean comfortable hotel.
