Best dog park I've been to in the area! There are two faced in areas, one for small dogs (under 25 pounds) and one for big dogs. It's great for working on socializing my rescue pup, because she's small enough that we can take her on whichever side is less crowded. And if she gets overwhelmed or is too scared to go in at all, we can go for a nice long hike on the trails nearby! The big dog side is huge and full of trees and toys, small dog side is smaller (about the size of the Milford dog park) but still fun. Only problem is, people don't always pick up after their dogs, so watch where you step! Especially on the small dog side.
I just went for a walk even I do not have a dog, it has a nice trail I walked with my kids almost 45 min, great, cleaned, people come here to jogging..,,
The Dogo absolutely loved it! Got to run around and play chase or be chased :-). Very friendly atmosphere.
Shelton's park has a very creative, spacious design with all sorts of unique features for dogs to enjoy. My favorite part of the design is that it incorporates dozens of mature trees which gives it a very cozy, sheltered feel.
Absolutely beautiful dog park. Neighbouring town's dog parks are mostly small, fenced in areas (typically covered with a cheap mulch) with nothing more than a bench or two.
